changed description "When working on a laptop, there isn't any way of toggling the Edit/Mixer/Browse panes with a keyboard shortcut in S7. If I press Fn+F1, it opens the Reference Manual instead of the mix window, Fn+F2 opens the Edit window (rightly so!), and Fn+F3 toggles MacOS's native Mission Control for some reason! (Fn+F4 opens the inspector, Fn+F5 opens the browser, etc, so these seems to work right again.)
**Couldn'tCouldn't you make it possible to be able to remap the shortcuts for the View Mixer/Edit/Browser/Inspector panes? I would choose Cmd+1, Cmd+2, etc instead of the Fn + function keys for opening Mixer/Edit/Browserpanes.**"changed description "When working on a laptop, there isn't any way of toggling the Edit/Mixer/Browse panes with a keyboard shortcut in S7. You can definitely change the shortcuts for showing Edit/Mixer/Browse.
In the Commands search for 'Console', 'Editor' or 'Browser' - you'll find it under the "View" section. Same with "Inspector" ... Happy remapping!
