New Feature Request
The mixer and editor goes to full screen when you maximize it. Even more annoying is that it stays on top, meaning any window underneath will be buried below even if it is in focus (window term for that window/element to be active) unless you restore or minimize the detached window. It is important to know that I'm using this on Windows 11. I don't know how it behaves in Mac.
When you maximize a window, you expect it to follow OS guidelines but clearly this is not the case for Studio One. It's annoying. The only workaround is to resize the window manually so that it's not maximized (full screen).
I've found a workaround by turning Studio One into full screen and then turning it off. It removes the "always on top" property of the floating windows, therefore, any window underneath that one can go on top of it if you press alt+tab.
Also, Studio One full screen mode also is always on top making alt-tabs useless. Also, make the menu-bar auto hide in full screen so that full screen mode will finally be useful. As it stands now, it's just annoying as you'll have to shift+F all the time.
Please change this behavior over all.
Mac user over here with a big +1. The detached Mix Console is frustrating because it does not function like a normal window on Mac OS. Makes it impossible to resize or distribute windows perfectly using OS features. S1 would benefit greatly from the flexibility of other windows just like Pro Tools.
Thank you!!
