New Feature Request
As seen in the below video, Studio One's implementation of Apple's Mx architecture lags well behind competing DAWs, and is even shown to sometimes leave entire cores unused (typically Efficiency, but in this video, even one Performance Core).

This is a serious issue, especially for professional users managing large project files, such as what is needed in contemporary pop production.
I have run into this ceiling myself and have had to use workarounds such as custom fan curves (using TG Pro) and manually forcing other apps to run in my performance cores (using App Tamer), to compensate for a performance loss that I would not see if I were using a competing DAW that is well optimized for Mac.
Fixing Apple Mx Implementation would result in a smoother user experience for much of your user base, and is something that people on the Answers forums have been begging for for years. It would also do a lot to show Studio One users that resolving tech debt is as important to Presonus as flashy features & third-party collaborations are (which I love, don't get me wrong!)
Yes. When several other DAWs out there can support this, it is pretty tragic that Studio One is lagging behind here. I don't have high hopes that it'll be implemented soon but one can dream I suppose. This will positively impact literally everyone using S1 on a newer Mac, which will hopefully continue to become a larger and larger part of the userbase.
The fact that this doesn't have more upvotes is staggering.
Here's an new video that just came out showing DAW performance with the new M4 chips. Studio One has the worst performance...

Please fix this. It is causing me to look for an alternative DAW that is efficient. I believe that this is more important than adding new features. The performance effectiveness with new processors using other DAWs is showing upwards of 75% greater capacity/efficiency than Studio One.
