I totally support you, bro. I posted almost the same thing. As a supplement, I want to say that the CrossFade part is very hard to see after zooming out (no difference with no Xfade, I'm not sure Xfade is done everywhere).
The color of MIDI notes is too dark, for low brightness colors, I think it should also be restored to keep the high brightness version of MIDI notes like V6 to distinguish the velocity.
Hope PreSonus can see this, I haven't received any positive feedback so far, and I have raised this issue in various forums for a long time. I believe I am not the only one who feels uncomfortable.
I completely agree with this. I was about to post about it myself. When you select an event, the gridlines almost completely disappear. This is not an improvement but a serious decline in workflow and precision. This can be quite annoying when you're editing a lot of audio. In my opinion, the best solution would be to introduce an extra slider to adjust the contrast of the gridlines in a selected event.
Totally agree. V6 had the most awesome look an feel. Also no fan of the rounded corners, i loved the sharp and snappy interface back in V6. Would be very welcome to be able to switch back to that.
Latest updated said to have improved the visibility, but it honestly did nothing for me. No matter how much I change the appearence settings, I am literally squinting my eyes to find the gridlines, this is unbelievable.
I agree.+100
Presonus, please leave the USER the option to decide about the Look & Feel and the appearance. Did anyone complain about it in the past?
If there was manpower available to re-invent the wheel without the audience's approval, at least re-structure the menu in a way we could (re-)adjust it to one's individual preference!
